Private Consultation
Your 40-minute appointment begins with a thoughtful conversation about your hair loss, lifestyle, comfort needs and ideal look. You will try several premium options in our Baltimore studio.
Personalized Creation
Once the base wig is selected, we create a detailed customization plan. Your piece is cut, colored and refined for your face shape, skin tone and natural style.
Fitting & Education
At your follow-up appointment, we perfect the fit and teach you how to wear and care for your wig confidently. Ongoing salon support is available when you need it.
A premium, customized investment
In-person consultations are $30 and the fee is fully applied toward your wig purchase. Custom human-hair wigs generally range from $2,300 to $4,500, depending on length and customization.

Some insurance plans may reimburse part of a medically necessary wig when it is prescribed as a cranial prosthesis. Coverage and requirements vary by insurer and plan.
SE Wigs can provide a detailed purchase receipt for your claim. Before purchasing, ask your healthcare provider and insurance company what documentation they require.

All in-person services take place at our private Baltimore salon. Clients regularly travel from surrounding Maryland communities, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia for personalized fittings and customization.
If you live more than 1.5 hours away, please call before booking so we can help plan your visit. A virtual consultation is also available when travel is difficult.

When should I begin looking for a wig before chemotherapy?
If possible, schedule a consultation before significant hair loss begins. This gives us the opportunity to understand your natural color, texture and style. If treatment has already started, you are still welcome—we will meet you wherever you are in the process.
Do you sell synthetic wigs?
SE Wigs specializes in premium human-hair wigs selected for natural movement, realistic appearance and long-term customization.
Will my wig look natural?
Our goal is a result that feels like you. We customize the cut, color, density, hairline and fit around your features and preferences.
Can my insurance pay for a medical wig?
Some policies offer reimbursement when a wig is prescribed as a cranial prosthesis. Coverage varies. We provide a detailed purchase receipt, but you should confirm eligibility and required documentation with your insurer.
Do you have locations in DC or Northern Virginia?
SE Wigs has one private salon in Baltimore. We welcome clients from DC, Montgomery County and Northern Virginia, and virtual consultations are available.
